We have planned some Fun classes for kids and families

Miniature Kawaii Mania

Agatha @sydneyclaystudio and Audrey @koki.kraft will again explore the world of miniature Kawaii - ultra cute!! You might even see some characters from studio ghibli and Minecraft too. Join us in making and colouring a mini character . We’ll glaze and fire it for you to collect 3 weeks later.

Create your own Plate

We’ve made some cool shaped plate cutters so you can make a unique plate for your favourite snacks. During the workshop You’ll make your plate and add colour and then we’ll fire and glaze your pieces in a shiny glossy clear glaze, ready for you to take home 3-4 weeks later.

Family Group Classes

Bring along your mum and dad, or favourite aunt or cousin to our family group bookings- up to 4 participants (all ages) where there is a least 1 participating and engaged adult.

As usual we are keeping classes small (8 participants) and chilled, with a focus on a fun relaxed introduction to creativity in claymaking.

Spring school holiday workshops

It’s been a curveball of a year ....So ....We have planned some Fun classes for kids during the spring school holidays.

These holidays we are all about making ceramics that are cuuute- Kawaii style.

We have some guest makers too-

Hunmi Yi from @245kidscreative will lead us in making plates and platters that look both cute and tasty.

Audrey from @koki craft will introduce us to the world of miniature Kawaii - ultra cute!!
We have planned classes for all ages. We are also offering family group bookings- up to 4 participants where there is a least 1 participating and engaged adult. These can be booked in the 13 + time slot (2-4pm).

Australian Ceramics Open Studios 2019

Come along to Sydney Clay Studio on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August for the Australian Ceramics Open Studios 2019!

Check out the studio, talk to our resident potters and ceramic artists in our creative spaces from 10am to 4pm. There will be ceramics for sale, plus wheel and handbuilding demonstrations by Agatha Pupaher.

Inner West Open Studio 2018

This Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th Sydney Clay Studio will be opening its doors again to the public and inviting them to come and see us in our creative spaces and to see what services SCS offers. From 10am until 4pm we will be available to show you around and talk about our work and artistic process. Much of our work will be available for purchase from tableware, jewellery, sculptural and hand-built pieces to lighting.

Some of us have electronic payment facilities whilst others are cash only. 

Christmas Sale

From Monday 18th until Saturday 23rd December we'll be having a sale of ceramics made by our artists. Hours are 10am until 4pm with a late night on Wednesday 20th until 8pm. Some of the artists will have banking facilities so you may want to bring some cash along, too. We'll also have a seconds table. Our artists have instagram accounts  . . . a great place to check out some of their work.
